Re: Panzer III variant
I was looking around, and the lorry variant doesn't look as if it was built on same hull, so I started looking a bit more and asked around on the forum, and then settled on this. What I may do (as it will all cost me virtually nothing, is to put a tow hook on the back of this one and either tow a trailer, an artillery gun, or even build a tank transporter trailer. It will be something different. Shame there is no room for a detailed interior, I did try but the RX18 and speaker have to go in the lower and the P3 is small enough as it is??
Some more pics...done the checker-plate, and it looks ok (better than it looks).

Re: Panzer III variant
Well it is a little different, though it was only intended to be a runabout when I started. I haven't actually measured anything or scaled anything, I don't have a ruler. I just looked at pics and went...hmmm..that looks about right, and cut up styrene sheets. The only 'measuring' that I did was to match left and right bits so that it remains symmetrical, and used a vernier gauge to get strips the same width all the way down. I moulded the fiddly bits out of JB Weld or Milliput.
I also managed to swap a can of Nitro Cleaner for a complete set of metal sprockets/idlers, the ball raced ones with the optional centre cap inserts.
