It's amazing how much simulations have come on in the past few years.
One of my favorites is a very detailed virtual reality tank simulator hidden away in a combat flight sim franchise 'IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad'.
With a high quality VR headset the immersion is complete.
