This one was famously disabled, its gun barrel damaged and abandoned. Not in the forest but at an important crossroad vantage point near bye. I have more period pics somewhere. It was originally positioned/camouflaged along side the building its in front of now but has been moved and restored. As I've read there were many talks about removing it before it was restored. The community came together and decided that it was an important part of history and needed to be preserved.
