I, too, like the crew, posed so well. I do have a suggestion. I often spray a figure with Dullcote or a similar flat clear and then use a wash of Burnt Umber Oil Paint, thinned a lot, and brush it on a figure. The clear flat protects the acrylic paint (or enamel) from the oil thinner. The Burnt Umber (or Burnt Sienna) creates some depth to clothing folds and seams, makes the figure look a bit dirtied, and can even make the face look more realistic.
I went back to read all four and a half years of posts on this, Tom. It's worth every bit of your time and skill, and I admire it. And the open top, especially, with all the detail and the figures you found, makes for an instant diorama.
But now, where's Buzz Lightyear? Did he Buzz Off?
