That came out great.I have this great Sturmtiger book and if you can imagine the wheels being switched over to late style sometime between August 1944 and April 1945 I think this one is the closest and is from Komp.1000 especially with the bolted on extra lower glacis armor which is the only one I've seen pictures of.

Also I think your camo would be suitable as I think the artist made it yellow from the washed out dirty picture. But I found in the shot of my Sturmtiger outside from the Show Off forum how the sun could completely fade out the camo especially if it was an old black and white image from 80 years ago. The second picture shows what I mean

Could be but I’m thinking not.
The vehicle with that serial number from the 1000 Kompanie has not been photographed that we know of.
Some accounts mention the prototype going to Warsaw then being recalled and 2 more machines being sent to Hungary with one being recalled to Warsaw from there.
Other accounts are that two machines plus the prototype went to Warsaw then all were recalled to Germany & those were formed up for the Ardenne offensive on Dec 15 .
For mine to have the early wheels I’m picking it was one that went to Hungary , was returned to Warsaw, then to Germany.
But we may never know

Oh for sure it was just a what if scenario. You did a great job of cobbling together the stuff for the build. I went with the Komp.1003 Ebersdorf one for mine and I painted the Brumby one for a guy in the club's Sturm. I would like to do the Menden which has a bit more yellow than the other 2 to have all 3 out on the field at once. That weird sort of hinterhalt with the brush strokes rather than dots from this Kpmp. looks very cool. It's a surprisingly good IR battler as well.
