Servo is plugged into J4. Does the transmitter need to be on when doing all this? If not, where does the screen appear? When it says turn on and off, I presume it means the board? Sorry for all the dumb questions, modern electronics are way above my simple mind.

You won't have the transmitter on when doing this.

You will need the remote, which I think you said you had, the programming light will flash the correct number of times as you move around.

Make sure the board is off when you are connecting the jumper and the ir programming cable then trun it on to do the programming, turn off when disconnecting the programming cable and jumper.

When you test after it should just work on the servo

Had a go yesterday at trying to get the elevation to work. Still no joy. I think I must be the dumbest person going. Set it up as shown.
Plugged in servo in J4. And jumper in above it.

Is this correct?
This is the remote.

As I didn’t purchase from Stian, I would feel guilty if he offered help, as it would be an imposition on his time.

:) Hello, when you press the remote control directed towards the Infra Red sensor, does the LED react? I don't think it's a question of stupidity? since personally I got there, and yet quite devious with all this electronic stuff :haha:

On the TK 22/24 series it was recommended to replace the red LED of the mantle, (which is an infrared) and replace it with a standard one, then the shunt put in place (same as your photo) to activate the elevation, press without Hold down the "Power" button on the remote control until the LED flashes 4 times. I don't know if it will help you, because it's quite old? but it costs nothing to try? Afterwards, maybe this type of model is not suitable, compared to Sony?

Well I’ve managed to get a servo to work. Trouble is it is the one for the turret rotation 🤣 and not the elevation servo, and I don’t know how to get it back, because I don’t know what I did.

There is only a small amount of movement and it returns to the same position when the stick is released. There is nothing in the up position of the stick. I can get full movement if I plug it into the receiver, but again it returns to the centre position when the stick is released. Please don’t refer me to the Clark instructions, it is gobbledygook to me, due to my dyslexia. Can it be adjusted from the TX, or do I need to use the programmer, which I now have?
Hello, do you have any reaction from the diode during your tests? In a previous message, you say that there is a slight movement, on your TX in menu, check if the servo travel is correctly adjusted (100%). at least, if it goes back to zero? Do you use a handle with automatic return to neutral?

Otherwise, is there any solution left? Do you have an unused channel on your RX? if yes, connect your elevation servo to it, as a last resort.
If you have no reaction from the LED? Maybe your TV remote control is not suitable?

Mr Thicko here is slowly working out how to sort this board. Managed to switch from ESC mode to PMW mode. How do I switch back from PMW mode to ESC mode?
