Re: Pantiger re-build / correction into a wrecked Ausf . A Normandy
Ive had ago at the tool holders . I wanted the C hook and tow cables to be detachable . Ive sort of worked this . I had to re make all the tool holder as the HL was damaged by me when removing it ::) . Ive made this from period picts , model books and my plans . Ive got some little brackets to fit and the chains for holding the retaining pins . Im unsure If im going to fit Aber tool clamps at this point . The picture with the shovel and axe are just to show were there going neither tool is finished yet just put on for the photo .I used styren sheet for the rack , brass tube for the holders and thin steel shim plate to make the bar , spade end and axe head brackets/holders .

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the comments . I used small pins bent over to make the retaining pins . To be honest it was the first thing that came to hand . Im going to try and get a necklace for the chain tom . My daughters got one but she wouldnt let me chop a bit of :-\

Hi Ice , Thanks for your comments . Im thinking of re instaling the electronics now . I have time on my hands as Im currently out of work
. I wasnt sure if the tool holder would work to be honest . I wanted to make the spare track holder but I need some Panther track links . Must be the correct width ones tho not the HL Tiger / Pantiger ones.
Thanks Andy

good work there Andy
tool racks and bins look the picture
I made my Panther track links for the back rack from the Pantiger links (didn't have any spares from the Panther metal tracks)
I made them narrower and cut 1 guide horn off from the hull side and moved over a bit and cut in the holes for the sprocket teeth
This might help if you can not get any Panther links

Hi Chris, I just glue the chain . I use the same glue for nearly all my stuff . I just get it from the pound shop ::) Mind you I'm using small pins ( very thin nails ) and they have a tiny head they slot into the chain , but I do put a dab of glue on them just to hold them . Ive been and got some chain today , believe it or not from Clairs its a women/girls accessory shop ( I was with my daughter she was looking , I don't frequent women's shops ::) )just bought a necklace £3 ::) I did get a long length of chain from a charity shop for a £1 but it was just to big . I will have to have a look at your build.
