Flysky 3 way toggle switch

Post by Ludwig von wigbearer »

Hi all, anyone know where I can get a 3 way toggle switch for a flysky fsi6s, I bought a replacement for my broken switch a
couple of years ago and only just started working on my tanks recently after a few years off and I have the wrong switch :poop:
The switches I bought have a red plastic backing and the mechanism is deeper, the original is black plastic and not so deep.
I can get one from aliexpress but does anybody know of a uk source before I buy.

These transmitters are great value and probably so because that dont have a UK distributer so Aliexpress is probably a good bet, as is just buying a new one and keeping your existing one as a spare?

Hi, I have 4 of these transmitters, 2 on the go and 2 new in the boxes, they suit the clark s-bus very well, I might order a set of the switches from aliexpress in case i drop a transmitter on the floor again

So, I had the exact same issue a while back. I actually got to the point where I desoldered the old one and then realized the red one wouldn't work. Then I put the old one back on. Then I ended up getting a new black one, soldered it on, and then it didn't work. I swapped the entire board and the attached rotary switch from another transmitter to get it to work. I contacted Flysky trying to get spare parts, took a pic of the entire assembly, emailed it to them, and I got some run around answer to go to their parts site that didn't have the part which is what I told them in the first place. Never did get a replacement. I had to buy the black switch one from AliExpress. My switch broke when the transmitter fell from a shelf so I'm guessing it cracked the board somehow when it fell. It broke the right side switch which is the engine start. No matter what position the switch was in, it wouldn't register as being off. Recently I bought a new transmitter and stripped the parts I needed out of it rather than reprogramming the 3 tanks I had stored in the old one. Now I have spare parts I guess...

Hi Derek and thanks for your comments, mine broke on the left hand side LOL, these switches are a bit flimsy, I will try the aliexpress route and use your idea of spares if it doesnt work.

I'm going to guess that the broken switch shows "on" when you power up the transmitter and it gives you the "flip switches to the off position" when you power on the transmitter? Then it doesn't allow you to do anything because the switch can't be turned off?

Those are all the red ones that don't work. The black switch that is the same as the original has a YN printed on it. Those red ones don't physically fit in the slots on the board.

You can disassemble the switch, bend the legs from the bottom and remove the fittings, inside there is a plate that rolls from one side to the other, on a spring-loaded base.
basically, if it is not broken, then you can clean the contact and assemble it again, for me this is not a problem.
Even the switches from Futaba 18, I repaired.
Any mechanical part can be fixed by me, if the electronics are damaged, I go to a friend and he fixes it.

I tried swaping the guts over from one switch to the other but no chance as they are different
