I'm from Michigan as you saw from the title, and I like it here the terrain makes it fun for tanks or RC cars.

As of now I only have one RC tank.

M41A3 Walker bulldog (henglong).
I bought it with the metal gearbox and plastic tracks but I had a problem with the stock gearbox it wasn't the gears itself it was the part that connects the sprocket to the gears it was plastic and probably stripped itself. I replaced it with a black steel gearbox with a metal part that connects to the sprocket and I have 390 motors.
:D
I am working on getting metal drive set for it soon. 8)

Hello, Dude782. The improvements you have made to the M41A3 are already good. Do you know what version of the HengLong electronic unit is in it? Some of the newest HengLong electronics are great for running, if a bit "generic" for sound (though as good as the earlier versions). Ask any questions you like and if you care, photos of the innards of the Bulldog can tell us a great deal.

390's? Sounds like a Runner not a Walker...

A another colonial cousin. I am afraid my knowledge of Americashire is very poor. Where abouts is Michigan in relation to New York. Anyway, welcome to the forum from Argyll and Bute. Fitting 390 motors will make your tank fly. If it has the Heng Long 7.0’ or 7.1 board it will be able to run off a 3S battery which will make it even faster.

Welcome from Ontario just across the border and a couple of ponds!
You'll like the Bulldog. It has its scale issues, but such a tanky-looking tank. And some great camouflage schemes especially from tthe South American armies using it.
