TARR MK3 PROP SMOKE UNIT

Post by Sub »

Hi chaps,
I wonder if any one could assist me please.
I have a TARR mk3 prop smoke unit that has an issue in that the red wire has detached itself from the proportional control board, i have removed the heat shrink to re attach it but am not sure where it has come adrift from, the logical place is on the soldered terminal nxt to the black wire but resoldering it on here and the fan does not run but the heating element works, if i touch it to the black wire the fan runs but i think its a bit quick!!. At present it is not connected to any motors, just a 7.4v source via the plug that usually goes into the ch10 port.
If anyone has one of these units would it be possible to have a peak under the heat shink to see where the red wire attaches to please.
Thanks in anticipation of any replies.

I managed to work out the issue, red wire was in correct place however one of the resistor contacts to the board had come loose which supplied power to the red wire to operate the fan, now re-soldered correctly and working, no need for any replies.
