Re: 3D Mark IV Tank build
I'm inexperienced at such design, Alwyn, but a little question popped up in my pea brain: it there some way to adjust the drive chains? Maybe it would be a simple as slotted openings for the gearbox mounting screws (with, say, lock washers). I hope I'm not being simplistic.

Re: 3D Mark IV Tank build
Many thanks for the input on that, it's something I've been wracking my brain about. I think I've got a solution by making a sliding plywood platform for each gearbox with slots and screws/washers to allow tensioning and adjustment. All I have to do now is make it

Some progress
Drive train installed

Started on the cladding

Still a huge amount to do. When I get to the side pods I'm going to make interchangeable male/female pods. There's also a baggage/recovery version.

"a baggage/recovery version" Wow! How useful when an airline loses one's luggage! (Sorry, Alwyn, my sense of humor is incorrigible.)
