If I hadn't bought the Bambu X1C I'd probably be in the same boat as Eric. Being that the Bambu just seems to crank out parts like no tomorrow with less issues (not none and it's not bullet proof or idiot proof). I have a Qidi iMateS printer just sitting idle in the garage. That was a great printer when I bought it, but it was so quickly eclipsed speed wise that I would have no where near this much stuff printed on that printer. I need to just put it out on the marketplace and free up that space.
What I have noticed a lot lately with filament is that it is coming directly from the factory slightly wet. I know it's wet because I can hear the filament pop and hiss from the water being heated out of it as it's extruded. Since I mostly print PETG now that Bambu has it's high speed PETG, I dry that filament for 8 hours in my Sunlu dryer. I dry all my TPU or it prints like crap. I don't print much PLA as the Texas sun likes to deform it. I've never had any issues with eSun filament though. Sunlu has been great also as far as cheap stuff goes.
The bad SD card or USB stick is a pretty common problem with all 3D printers whether they are resin or FDM. Glad you got it working.

Well the drama continued. I could not get a decent print out of the stupid printer - delamination at what ever temperature I set. After multiple attempts with various settings, I dragged out my old print head, removed the thermistor, and jury rigged it into the print head.
It worked, good solid prints with no delamination. The thermistor supplied with the new print head was faulty. I am now past my 19th nervous breakdown and am almost certifiable, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I just have to do a test print at the normal teperature setting for the PLA+ to prove it's all working and can then take myself off to the lounge with a little noggin of single malt, and come back tomorrow and get back to my project.
