Heng Long turret gear size and pitch

Post by ongbenghui »

Hi hi,

I am trying to find out what is the Heng Long large turret gear size and pitch. Looking at replicating a design with 3d printing.
I measured to be 137 teeths and diameter of 137mm, which make it a mod1 (0.98), wondering if this is accurate?

I double check on the turret drive unit, and it has 20 teeths with a diameter of 21.6. Seems to be mod1 (0.98) as well.

Any advise?

:) Hello, if you are exactly reproducing an HL system? and have you noted the dimensions? Should there be no problem? the rotation speed will depend on the number of revolutions (minutes, and voltage "volts" of the motor used) if you want a very gentle training at the start? I suggest using a servo motor (360° rotation) with programmable radio, allowing speed adjustment from the TX menu

attached Clark link, rotation by servo. See column on the left, in "conversion / upgrade Kit" post below "Universal Turret Rotation (16004) if can help?
