Can Herr Dr. Professor Swim?

Post by Herr Dr. Professor »

In a day or two, I will be aboard a luxurious boat cruising the Danube. And, as with the Scotland trip, it's all the generosity of my sweetheart.

I will be limited in time and stuck with only my phancyphone until September 10. I don't know if I can post photos from my phone, if only because re-sizing them might be a challenge. It's an iPhone 14+ now using iOS Version 17.6.1. I do have it set to reduce photo sizes for text messages. If anyone can explain how to reduce photos (through the "edit" function...or maybe "settings"?) I would be grateful.

Don't you all feel sorry for me?

To start with you need to convert the images to mm for European servers... :)

Enjoy, and look out for the Hunger Stones and wrecks if the water is low.

As for converting. Don't you mean for the rest of the world? LOL

Enjoy your trip Prof

An iPhone 14? I never pictured you as the type to be wearing skinny jeans, a cardigan over a Slipknot tshirt whilst stroking your soul patch and sipping a mocha java latte dusted with Madagascar cinnamon ;D

Check the picture details for some of your images and if it's below 3mb it will upload to the forum with no issues. If not, dig around the settings and you'll find what you need to keep them below 3. One of the 17 year-old crewmembers should be able to help.
If you've set it to sizing for texts I suspect you'll be well below that.

Enjoy your cruise and give us a review, please. Those inland small ship cruises have always intrigued me.

Mike.

The Company went skiing each winter for 4 weeks using a German Alpine regts qtrs near Smittheim South Germany,
Each platoon having a week but the OC and the Sgt Major would stay the whole month, as the bosses driver I would be there for the month as well, Each weekend he would want to explore the local area,
Friday night in the all ranks bar he called me over, Boy (He never called me anything else :lolno: ) get your maps and a packed lunch tomorrow we are going to find the Danube,
Having searched for the source of rivers in the past I knew how this would end, Sure enough we found it in thr middle of a muddy field near the German/Swiss border, :/
Well the sandwiches were nice :haha:
I hope your bit of the Danube is a bit more impressive Doc
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

1:16 was my scale. Until 'Konan' came into my life... an Armortek 1:6 Tiger 1!
... Now followed by a Panther G, 'Gunther'!
