Good afternoon everyone
I ordered a chally 1 conversion from armoured models via eBay. Back around November time roughly. I’ve been in contact with them right up till early may. But nothing since and every query is unanswered. Not sure what’s going on and has anyone had any issues with them in the past. The eBay account is Larrylonglegs99 who sells all the armoured models stuff.
Amoured Models Challenger 1 order not met. After 6 months of waiting.

If I remember correctly, that is James Canham's account (IE: the guy behind Armoured Models). I also believe he had a child not too long ago which might be causing him some issues. I got a response from James on Facebook April 6th about a question I had for my SU-152 I purchased from him, but it took him 10 days to respond to me. I'm of the opinion that if you are going to run a business you need to respond in a timely manor regardless of your family situation or stop taking on new business. I've run a business before and it takes up a lot of your time. Hit him up on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100057730896823

I sent him a message on facebook on the 16th may and to date he still hasn't opened/seen it. Its a frustrating situation. Although he did tell me prior that he had 20+ orders for the conversion but I was one of the first.tankme wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 9:18 pm If I remember correctly, that is James Canham's account (IE: the guy behind Armoured Models). Unfortunately Still didn't receive it and I'm pretty sure he's blocked me on Ebay and Facebook. I've been civil in all my attempts to message but to date my last update was the one above.
Seems like I got ripped off out of £200 ish pounds

If it was purchased on eBay start an "item not received" claim. Ebay will start the claim and typically ask you to contact the sellr to discuss a resolution. You can tell them what you've done and they can start from there with him.
Hopefully you haven't waited too long to start action against him. If you paid with a credit card, time to get them involved, too.
Good luck,
Mike.
