I was working on reducing a 1/10 scale Stug to 1/16 to fit on the Taigen lower. The project has been benched for a while. I saw a 1/35 DML Stug C/D at the Local Hobby shop today and had to buy it. Been looking at info on the Stugs since I got home. Now I see this...Simply magical LOL
I have all my files designed for the Taigen lower. Its not 100% but it fits pretty damn close for guess work. Uses the Taigen front hook and the rear latches. Considered selling these as kits or finished models, but I wasted so much resin on trying to print the casemate correctly I gave up on that idea pretty quick.

Ausf-some! Great looking StuG! When I get around to working on German armor, I hope it comes our a fraction of what you've turned out, sensational work!

Good morning,
That StuG looks very familiar. ;o) I spent a good deal of time, a few years back, turning the Profiline kit into a working StuG Ausf B. Fun times! Your 3D printed version is very Crisp indeed!

That will probably be my next German armour build. Will take very little effort to redesign the files to make a Ausf. A, plus I already have the files for the 38cm tracks. I will say not a fan of the metal front sprocket and idler for those. I didn't like how they went together, will probably end up designing my own front sprocket to cover the mounting screw hole.

Cheers Eric! Taking your time to really think things through is what made mine come out so nice.

Painless, you were actually my inspiration for my build. My turret isn't motorized or have recoil like yours, although I can move it side to side and up and down manually with my hand. I just didn't have the energy to figure out how to connect the Taigen recoil unit to it. Again, I really didn't like the Profiline kit I received was missing a lot of stuff. Any future builds I do will probably end up getting a 1/35 kit and just converting the measurements into 1/16 and printing it out.

Good Afternoon,
I recall that a couple of pieces of the resin kit needed repair right off the bat. You've done a handy and amazing job fixing your StuG up past the limitations of the kit. I'll be following along to see what you tackle next.
