Filming your tanks.

Hi guys and gals, there's alot of good videos on here of you all driving your tanks around. What type of video device do you all use and how do you get it on the forum? im looking into getting something to take videos but im not too sure what to get or how to go about doing it.

hi mate,

i just use the video function on my Digital camera. and then i edit the video in Windows Movie Make (the cheepskate way! ) and then upload it to youtube, and put a link to the video on the forum, and the forum will automatically embad the video into your post,

I use a 6 year old digital camera that was state of the art and the 'Best Buy' when I bought it. It is now archaic and gets slung in my toolbox! The damn thing cost close on £300 and it is now worthless. My camera phone is much higher quality for still pics, but the digital camera is easier to take short movie clips with.

1. Film something.
2. Download it on to the pc.
3. Create a new project in Windows Movie Maker.
4. Import the video clips.
5. Drag the clips into the bar at the bottom.
6. Cut out the bits that you don't want.
7. Add some special effects, fade in, fade out etc.
8. Import some music or sound effects if you want to.
9. Select 'Publish Video'. I always opt for 'Best quality for my computer'.
9. Open You Tube.
10. Go to 'My Account'.
11. Click on Upload New Video.
12. Browse your pc for the video that you just created.
13. Click on it.
14. Select 'Upload'.
15. Wait till it uploads.
16. Bask in the adulation/Read the nerdy comments from 12 year olds who have a friend who is an expert modeller and who says your tanks are crap.

When you set up your youtube home page subscribe to rctankwarfare youtube page.And wibbly is right about the feedback,but you know what they say about opinions,or option number 2 I have twin 17yr olds and they are very up to date on youtube,myspace and any thing with buttons so they do the hard stuff and I just try to keep up.Sax

17 year olds are good at pressing buttons on Youtube and Facebook, the ones I meet are ohh so good when it comes to catching viruses
