Row off the wife.

Post by Meter rat »

Just got into a row of the wife. Purchased a basic plastic Leopard 2. Her words were. “I thought you were not buying any more tanks”. My reply was honest as I had told her the Tiger was the last one, not the last tank. She called me a con and a cheat, and has gone to Glasgow for a new hand bag. Why she needs another?

Row with the wife?

Post by zooma »

I am sure you will enjoy your basic (Heng Long?) Leopard 2A6 - long after your wife has found a need to buy (yet?) another handbag 😂

You could be on a winner if every handbag allowed you to buy another new tank?
Never too old to learn........

Her propensity to buy a new handbag, especially when the previous one is full, out weighs the speed I purchase new tanks. So no, the house would not be big enough for all her bags. I on the other hand have made a purchase I want, and only want two more, and two other models. She buys because she needs them . This one is apparently for a wedding she has been invited too.

I've worn the same suit and tie to the last 4 weddings and 3 funerals I've been to, if that helps your case!

So, only a one use necessity then
My missus makes me laugh, most of her handbags end up either in landfill or a charity shop. None of them being sold for a return, unlike what our tanks can do.

Makes me think she's buying the cheap handbags. If you encourage her to buy the expensive designer ones, some of them are worth more a few years down the road...

Encourage her to spend more money...LOL...like that is going to happen.

The bags that go to charity shops are the more than tanks cost variety. Cheap is what a Heng Long would cost.
She doesn't need encouraging lol. It's her money, if it keeps her quiet......

Just how how long have you people been married ? When my lady expresses a desire to buy something the discussion is long over, It is a done deal.
It is not easy but if you can get ahead of the game you can win,
First know your bank balance then straightaway buy your Tank then mention in passing that her hair/dress/whatever is astounding and coup de main job done.Be ready for dark looks but you just might have got away with it.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
