New member from Belgium,

Post by Keere »

Hi

I have been surfing the forum for a long time and now thought it was time to register.

As a teenager I started modelling all scales and built 2 Tamiya RC tanks. After that, the hobby was put on pause for a few years and 4 years ago I started again with only building on scale 1/16.
Last year an Armortek panther scale 1/6 was added. I recently also acquired a 3D printer.

my stash is to big but this are some of my models.
On the workbench:
-Armortek panther G schaal 1/6
-Asiatam Famo + sdah 116
-3D print E-100
-Tamiya king tiger converted to E-75 105mm
-Taigen panzer iv ausf. H

Finished projects:
-Hooben elefant (with elmod)
-Hooben T-55 (with elmod)
-Tamiya Panther
-Tamiya leopard 2a7V
-Tamiya KV-2 Zis-6 107mm
-Taigen sherman Normandie (deep wading) (with elmod)
-Taigen tiger 1 (with ibu2)

Welcome to the forum Keere. Sounds like you will fit in around here. Nice group of tanks you have amassed.

Welcome, Keere! I'm one of the Yankees here on RCTW. Ecam is right: you can fit in here just fine and be an asset to RCTW. I see that you list one "Asiatam Famo + sdah 116." Do you have the FAMO running? I have lost of posts on the Asiatam FAMO with which I struggled, even with the fine advise of JHamm here on RCTW. It will not be a static model for me. Above all, yes, we just love photos.

Hi Herr Dr. Professor,

the fomo is not running yet. the famo has undergone the upgrades of MK modellbau, but so far without success. the gearboxes have been removed to get all the wheels and sprockets in line. the tracks always gets off the sprocket.
it is a very difficult project, on which I also work less frequently these days.
I hope to get this running one day
