First Heng Long Tiger 1 RTR tank in 2004

I am a retired aerospace engineer in the Chicago area. I enjoy upgrading 1/16 scale RC tanks using after market metal components. I have HL Tiger 1, Snow Leopard (Pershing), German Leopard 2A6, T-34/85, Sherman M4A3, and Tongde M60A1 Patton. A Coolbank M5A1 Stuart should be here next month. I also like plastic modeling, audio electronic and wood working.

Welcome to the forum Keilau. Been to Chicago a few times but mostly to visit your museums. The only remaining original Ju87 Stuka and one a just a few U-boats. The Field museum is pretty fantastic too.

Greetings, Keilau, from far Southern Wisconsin. Thank you for posting the photos! I will be interested to learn what you think of the Coolbank/TongDe Stuart. Do you mind telling from what seller you ordered yours? Despite my addiction, I am holding off on ordering one because I hope there will be a version with metal suspension, etc. But every day as one more RCTW tanker orders a Stuart, I am weakening...
