She’s taking shape nicely! The cast effect looks just right.

So often since I began the weathering, Ad Lav, I have thought “oh I wish I had….” But it’s time to get the remaining details and stowage on this T26E3 and my M10 and get the static FAMO together. I have projects galore, each calling to me, “Hey, won’t I be cool!”

Great work there Herr Dr. Professor!
Weathering is very nice, the mud is very well done. That's always something I want to add but change my mind when time comes to do it because I'm afraid to mess up.

I don't know anything about the parts replacement aspect, but I love what you did
with your commander.
The detail is wonderful.
How did you do it? Are they decals on the arm?

Yes, those are decals. I get those Peddinghaus decals from Dragon Hobby via eBay: https://www.ebay.com/str/dragonhobby The HengLong/Taigen US tank commander figure is to me the best of the lot of plastic sort who come with HengLong/Taigen tanks. Some time ago I used a few of them to practice painting 1/16 figures before diving into the more expensive figures.

The D-Day T26E3 has its details and is now getting stowage. I am about to start on a crew of competent, experienced G.I. tankers to watch over the Ludendorff Bridge. Can they be ready by June 6th?

For the 80th historical anniversary, the T26E3 doesn't exist until January of 2025.
