Team effort on this build, Martin did an excellent job of creating the original truck, i just went a bit silly with POWWWWER haha

It really works very well

This is the 981 version open cab, we will soon be putting on the 980 hard cab version which will feature a few more modifications

It has been run for about 2-3hrs now without any fault and runs forever on battery.

Its max speed is 3mph, but there is alot of control with these dual motors, that is running on 2s lipo.
I am yet to run a battery pack start to finish, but may do so once i have a load hooked up behind.
I will try and do some testing on 3s lipo when we build ourselves one for shows and exhibitions

A video for a test run of the Diamond T981 hauling the M9 45ton trailer overloaded with some German armour

phpBB [video]

Throttle test to see how little throttle needed to haul the load, it was approx 10-15% throttle running 2s lipo 1500mah pack

Truck to recap is a 6x4 with 2x 370 geared motors running in parallel thru our own custom designed transfer case

Will be making some ballast sections up which can be added for when a heavy load is pulled
