Sax, I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with yours.  What type of BBs are you using - .12g or .20g?  I will say that shooting the .20g BBs greatly reduce the distance and velocity out of the CD turret, as it will any other gun.

I haven't had a problem with the CD turret other than the barrel recoil occassionally sticking after sitting idle for awhile.  After a few shots or a shot of silicone spray things work themselves out.  As for the fps, I really don't know but I have no complaints there.  It fires a flat trajectory shot out to at least 30 feet and I can launch a BB and hit the house across the street with it  ;D  and it can punch through a target printed on a piece of photo paper which is pretty much all I need or could ask for.  The paintball experiences I spoke of were with a modified gun I bought from ThomasJohnMurphy from the RC Universe forum.  Because of the rupture problems I had I have not tried them in the CD turret.  If it weren't for the new system coming out I would have already ordered another turret for my #2 Tiger.  Mine is over a year old now I believe, and I have found it very reliable.  I know of no other tankers in my area, so when I got my first tank I was not looking for IR capability and was buying it as a plinker.  I'm sure you know the disapointment that comes the first time you shoot a stock gun at something!  I can truly say that the CD turret has greatly improved my enjoyment with this hobby, and added a bit more realism to the tank with it's features.

Shelby, thank you for your kind words.  I hope all the legal crap works itself out and thank you again for a great product.  I hope that the new gun system works in the Matorro King Tiger as I see one in my near future!!  I wish you could see the look on my nephew's face when he bring his Bulldog over for "Tank Days".  The first time he hit me at about 10 feet I turned my turret and fired a shot and sent the tool box flying off the front of his tank!  His face looked like the little girl in the commercial when the guy tells her "Well, you didn't say you wanted a real pony"!  He's only ten, or he'd have one of yours for sure... I've caught him shooting his friends at very close range  :o so he's going to have to deal with a stock gun for awhile.

In my case we just had problems that were difficult to say the least, now with Shelby help I have a very strong gun,but the recoil malfunction is due to the limit switch being installed wrong at the factory,my gun started life as a VS gun with C/D barrel and seal, then I machined a Tamiya barrel that at recoil mates with the gun barrel, the C/D barrel has a slight cone shape on the end,the end i.d.of the tamiya barrel is cone shaped to allow these barrels to mate and center as they come together,my gun barrel is 18mm to long for scale but shoots very straight, and the power is better than stock as I can hit the neighbors door across the street when new my gun would just make it to the side walk so I have doubled the distance, but I really want the new gun.to have to take this all back apart is just to much,I really would rather be shooting paintball ammo anyway. All for now Blake
