Kurt Knispel in 1:16?

Post by Mithras »

Looking for a Kurt Knispel miniature for my incoming Tiger II. I can locate a standing example, but I’d like to model him mounted in the turret. Does anyone have a source?

If you can’t find one simply cut Kurt’s head off and attach it to another tank commander figure. Use a micro servo and a piece of wire to enable his head to turn left and right for added fun.

I would, normally, but this is a 3D print, and I’ve not had good luck with stability when modifying them. It’s a very solid idea, though.

I know you are looking for Knispel for your Tiger II. But here is an Otto Carius one if you decide to do a Tiger or Jagdtiger in the future
