The three screws in your second picture plus some that may be on your hull above the tracks (my hull is different than yours). If you have the screws above the tracks the tracks will have to be removed too. However, start with the battery, you may have no need to open the tank if it cures the problem.

Thanks lol. Yea I think it's dead captainSon of a gun-ner wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 12:33 am Well, at least ten years old you say, hmmm (loud mechanic type teeth sucking sound), I'm afraid, I don't give out much hope that that battery has much stamina left.
It may appear to take some charge, but I wouldn't hold out much hope for it to hold much power I'm afraid.

That battery is rated about 3 times what your old one was (endurance not voltage)! And that charger is one of the new high tech marvels although I am unfamiliar with that brand. You should be good to go.

Sorry, I've got to ask.
You do remember how to turn the tank on?
Turn the controller on (red light)
Turn the tank on (white flashing light)
Press and hold the key button (one on the left)

I tired charging the old battery up tonight before posting on here. Just tried it.
It didn't sound right when it was switched on. But it did drive fwd a tiny bit and the turret moved. Then it just died. Does point to the battery.
Hoping the beeping and weird sounds it made was due to not enough power from battery.
