Tamiya 1/25 Chieftan suspension assembly issue

Post by squads726 »

Hello Tankers,
I am Joseph Leoce. I have been modeling tanks for 25 years or so. I have mostly made static dioramas, but occassionally
build an RC kit.
I/m building the Tamiya 1/25 Chieftan and found that while assembling the suspension,
one of the rocker assemblies has a fit issue. One of the pistons can't seem to be attached to
allow the rocker arm to move freely. Has anyone found this with their kit?
Thanks for any help/advice you can provide.

Hello and welcome to the forum Joseph

I was just reading through your contact the forum message about having a prior membership.
I'm afraid I couldn't find it, you must have used a different email address other than the one you used for this account and the forum message.
Did you have any posts with your old account?
If not, no worries, this new account is fine

I will add, as most members have 1/16th tanks as their preference, you may not receive the answer you require that quickly. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Can you post any pictures, maybe one of the instruction page for these items, and the offending items, just to clarify the problem.

Welcome to the forum Joseph.

Unfortunately I can't help with your query but hopefully another more knowledgeable can.

Hello, squads726 Joseph! I agree with Sun of a gun-ner: some photos might help, for although many here do RC tanks in 1/16 and larger, we have some 1/35 and even smaller scale experts. Then, too, many of us have built static ATF models and still build them.
