Plan to reuse the joiner plates to go over the sections where they separate.
If this goes wrong, I have a spare tank to recover the hull from so Mr Mithras doesn’t pay the price for misguided folly !!

You're gonna have to borrow one from work and send it down here for... research. So I can graduate from 3D printing and start making tanks out of metal.
Ram - did you not see Monsieur Tox's stryrene CNC milling machine? Think of the possibilities...

Herman - don't let your better half find out that the best Spotlight store ever is in Singapore - it's massive!

Been working on the conduit for the smoke canisters and went & picked up the metal roadwheels from the post office.
It’s starting to race together now.
I hope to have the skirts on by Sunday evening so I can spend the week doing yhdd Ed last bits ready for paint.

Thank the small gods that you got the road wheels worked out. That was a pain in the ass.

In this instance, yes it was. Im putting it down to the wild storms we had here while I was away.
There was/is major damage around the area and if any failed delivery notification was left, it would have quickly disappeared .
Alls well that ends well, got the wheels & thats the most important thing.

Added some simplified conduit for the smoke canisters out of solder. Will likely add thin strands of wire to make the loops that seem to be the feature of those bits of apparatus.
A first coat of Mr Surfacer 500 is on and looking good. Still to do another pass with diluted Tamiya putty that will hide all the ERA dimples .
I will set the turret aside now and get my rubber skirt action going ! :shh: :shifty:

Haven’t used Mr. Surfacer before. Looks interesting.
