HL Panzer. III

airmancurran1, I came back to see your Panzer III again, and I noticed that the left track is bassacwards. It's a super simple fix: get a 2.5 mm hex wrench (Allen wrench) and turn the drive sprocket out. It will slip out readily, and the tracks will come off easy-breezy. Then you can turn them around. You can also use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the rear idler for the same change out. I prefer the hex wrench only because it doesn't slip readily. If you don't already have them, from some hobby stores and online you can get a set of 1.5 to 4.0 mm (or so) hex wrenches. I used the angled type (Craftsman) for a decade, and when I got a set, I couldn't figures out why it too me so long. Duh...

I will try to get photos of the Tauchpanzer when I get the electronics in it again. (viewtopic.php?p=347832&hilit=Tauchpanzer#p347832) I am wondering if I should spend the dough to get Taigen V3 sounds in it, as I like those. Somewhere, too, I have a list of all the stuff I did to weather it. Otherwise its pretty out-of-the-box.

Good Lookin' out. Easy fix. I've had these tracks off and on five times so far. Just switched them. Now I see them form the AA in the track tread, I know I'm good.

Trust me I have viewed hundreds of pictures and there is no consistant direction of the tracks,

Imagine the state of mind of a crew team member, busting you ass to get the track back on, under fire, or at least in a front line zone, to hear the TC say, Kammeraden,
you have installed the track backwards.
