My Favorite View/Initial Tiger

Post by Jimster »

I can’t remember who said it but the best view of a Tiger tank is the rear end. I agree.

I've always said the same thing. Once I get the late Tiger 1 completed I'll line all 4 of them up for a group rear view photo. Also I think in WW2 it was probably the view as a soldier you wanted to see as opposed to a frontal one :O. I've always wanted to build an initial Abt 502 one like yours but when I was building my Tamiya early I was new to RC tanks and I hadn't built a model for 50 years and certainly was too much of a novice to be doing the cutting required on the turret as it was my first build and paint job. Yours looks great. There is one whitewashed initial one I always see in German RC show videos which looks very cool too

Probably someone in an allied tank hoping for a shot.

Jimster, that looks so realistic, I am worried about that cable hanging down by the left track. Then, too, put that Tiger out in a field someplace with no close background to give away its size, PhotoShop it into black and white, and it will look exactly like a WWII photo.
