Wow! There‘s a lot to admire in all three. Among so much else, I find the Zimmerit interesting on the Elefant. I‘d guess that you home made it, and convincingly, too. And it goes only half way up. Now I want to see in my books if there are any pictures of that way. I‘ll sure like seeing more of your projects.

They are all that way !
I guess the assumption was that to apply the magnetic mine you had to reach too high so no point wasting Zimmerit material if you didn’t need to

Thank you, Marco and Bix: that‘s what I guessed, but when I read the text, the house heat was already down for the night, and I was hiding under the blanket. So I was too lazy and cold to get up to find the books.

I think this the photo I took my inspiration from. Note the Zimmerit is higher on the sides ( above the Pistol Ports) and there is a sloped section at the front of the fighting compartment.
