Hi Guys…. Thanks for letting me join what looks to be a fab site for tank enthusiasts .
I’m in the U.K. and approaching my 80th birthday I have just spent several months building and painting one of Armorteks fantastic 1/6 scale all metal tanks… my choice being the M26 Pershing with its all up weight of about 80 Kgs.
May I pose one quick question?….. looking for a supplier of stencils or stickers for USA Tank markings ( I.e. stars and i.d.numbers etc) in 1/6 scale. TIA.

Hey, 80 is the new "youth," right? I am of the 1/16 budget type, but one of the 1/6 guys may jump in here soon. Meanwhile, consider Rad Schuhart, the multi-lingual, multi-national, most capable stencil maker who is on RCTW frequently and has made stencils for a bunch of us at a reasonable price and with excellent quality https://radindustries.wordpress.com/aut ... ndustries/ His web site is fun, too.

Hi Jag, Welcome to the Forum
The Doc has beaten me to it with Rads web site address,
His site is laden down with free and very helpful advice and his stencils are brilliant either tell him what it is you want or leave it too him either way you will get a top job for penny's.
I dont actually know if he does 1/6 because most of us on the Forum work in 1/16 but I imagine he will be fine with it, Just ask him he is a great guy and a valued member of the Forum,
You have more questions ? ASK.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Hullo and welcome from the West Coast of Scotland. I was going to say, be prepared to spend your pension, and your kid’s inheritance, but having re-read your introduction, I see you have already started on that. I will second https://radindustries.wordpress.com/aut ... ndustries/ for stencils.
