Hi and greetings from Norway!
Hi and greetings from Norway!
Hi all!
My name is Fredrik and I have always been into big tanks, have several Heng Long Tanks now and a vintage Tamiya Leopard 1 I bought and built while serving in the army eons ago.
My main interest lies within Soviet and Warsaw Pact military vehicles and gear.

Hello: you certainly are welcome! What tanks do you have (besides the Leopard 1)? Do you have any plans for them? Of course, we love photos. Welcome to the fun; ask questions and provide help and support when you can.

Hullo. Let me be the first to welcome you to the forum, from the West Coast of Scotland. I also have a vintage Tamiya Leopard 1. I just need to decide whether to modernise it or keep it original. My T72 will be the subject for my winter build.

Re: Hi and greetings from Norway!
Hi and thank you for all the warm greetings. I got a Heng Long Tiger 1, T-72 and a T-90. I tried to attach a couples of pics of my recent acquisition, a T-90 tank painted in Ukrainian colours. Hope you all like it. It is a beautiful model, but I have a serious issue with the speaker which needs replacing, I will soon submit a question regarding that on this forum.

I am rather ignorant about tanks after WWII. Your "T-90 tank painted in Ukrainian colours" seems to me to be in the Russian base color, but there must be a difference. Can you point out the differences or lead me to a source from which I could learn?

the yellow painted ERA on the turret roof, the yellow band on the fume evacuator and there will be other similar yellow I.D. marks too.
