Hi everyone, I am looking for opinions and advice.
To set the scene, I have 2 T-34/76’s that have been sitting around in need of some electronics. The first is a 1941/2 version with servo elevation & recoil. It also has servo opening drivers hatch and servo moving machine gun. I also have a smoker in it.
The second is a T-34/76 43 version. This one has no smoke and fixed mg.
(Pics available)
What I would like to know is what electronics I should use for them. There are many different types but I would like to use all the features of the tanks.
Also, just as an additional point, I am located in Australia, so not all brands of electronic motherboards are available here.
Thanks for any help.
Cheers AK

Re: What electronics ?
G'day mate, I'd really go with a H/L 7.1s board.
Servo controls, smoker options, reasonable sound, easy to work with and Im sure available from Mark at Ozarmour Rc .

Re: What electronics ?
Thanks Herman,
I have not tried any Henglong tanks/ boards since the very first batch of 2.4’s.
Most of my tanks are Asp, Clark or Taigen. But since Asp is no longer made, and Taigen does not support servos ( with the machine gun ) , it was only leaving me Clark. Which I can’t find in Australia.
I will have a good look at the HL 7.1 with the Russian diesel sound.
Thanks again

Re: What electronics ?
It is a bummer that Taigen's MFU, when attached to servos, cannot include the machine gun. Maybe Torro can do something about this inadequacy. (Is anyone reading? hint! hint!) I suppose the cost of shipping Clark boards to Australia is prohibitive. Some electronics can come from the U.S., but would that be any help at all? What electronics are available in Australia?
Then, too, you note that you have "Japanese Type94." Now that's a trick of compressed electronics. What did you put in Tiny Tracks, and did you ever work out the problem of locating tiny tracks that hold up? (viewtopic.php?p=273060&hilit=Japanese#p273060)

Re: What electronics ?
I've bought stuff directly from Clark in Taiwan before, since OzArmour didn't have the recoil units I wanted. I was actually looking to buy a pair of TK50s in the near future, I'd be happy to grab some stuff for you at the same time if you're keen.Afrikakorps wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 11:12 pmMost of my tanks are Asp, Clark or Taigen.
