Tiger 1 Late cupola

Post by John Glover »

Hi Guys, collecting the parts to convert a Tamiya Tiger 1 to a mid production with latter type cupola and see if any one knows which is the best fitting after market cupola for a Tamiya. Mato make on and so does Heng Long. Any advise is appreciated. Regards John.

Lets bring this up for John so he can get a good answer.

I don't deal with Tamiya yet so I can't give you a proper answer.

If it was for Heng Long or Taigen I'd suggest the Taigen/Torro metal Copula.

Thank you from the man who has a magic wand. You take a tank from what most of us would regard as a scrap, most of us would even go near it it, then you turn it into some thing we would all like to own. As Spock from Star Trek would say[Its not logical] Man, do you like a challenge .regards John.

I used a Taigen metal one and removed the lip on the Tamiya turret roof from the original one.
