Decals for figures............
'Afternoon All,
Does anyone know of a source for 16th scale decals for eyes (for figures) and British/Commonwealth Rank insignia?
Archer Transfers did a set of eyeballs, but they're no longer in business.
Cheers,

Re: Decals for figures............
I never knew they had them for eyes. That would improve and simplify my figure painting.
Lets see who/what pops up. I'm curious.

Just use a very fine brush or toothpick. Just don’t have too much white showing. At 1/16 scale they don’t require too much detail. That looks cartoonish.

Re: Decals for figures............
Chris, I agree with Jimster about painting eyes. After whatever primer one uses and preshading (if any) I go for the eyes first. I use a white with a teeny bit of flesh in it. With a toothpick or a #0000 brush, I paint the eyeball. Then I touch the eye pupil color in the center or off to one side or another if I want the figure to be looking left or right. Then I go to the skin color around the eyes, running the brush horizontally over the top and bottom of the eyeball so the eye whites show just a bit, not much at all. Especially out in daylight, a tanker's eyes are not going to show much.
