Thanks for looking in folks.
A bit more done.
The rubber side skirts are on. The ERA blocks stiffened them up a lot, almost to the point of being rigid plastic, but at least they wont flop onto the tracks during use.
Im still not 100% convinced they are durable enough, but for now they are looking the part.
The cool barrel flash/smoke units are out of stock down here for now and I really do want to add one to this ideally before painting & stowage, so I might play the waiting game for a short time in case they pop up.
Details like periscope glass etc will need to be placed as well so there is plenty to amuse me while waiting for the barrel toy to arrive!

Its the paint shade Im pondering now. These machines in this timeslot are a 3-tone camo, and Im leaning towards an almost NATO shade for the brown & green, with perhaps a light khaki as the tan-ish colour. At least its not just another green monotone finish ;)

Keep taking your shots. Our Navy used grey and various shades of blue. They just didn't use many tanks. @)

It’s very similar to the WW2 German tri colour paint schemes, over time there’s only so many ways of doing them before they look the same !
Russian tanks are green
I have 7 all green ones and 3 with some form of other shade on them, so green is running out of options on how to look different!!

Thanks Mr Lav, its getting there. Not actually looking forward to taking tyres & stuff off for painting, could be a can of worms opened

She's definitely coming together nicely. Are they metal wheels? You do have a lot of fiddly bits to be careful of, but I always love all of your extras to entertain the eyes.

It seems to me, Bix, that you could pull off the drive sprockets and idlers to paint and leave the road wheels with their tires alone. Then you can dirty up the road wheels, too, in weathering with a brush. No worms that way.

Tyres are pretty decent so they’ll pull off with no issues.

No mate, stock plastic wheels. The tyres are original ones and this kit is at least 15-20 years old so Im hoping the rubber has not gone brittle.
The seem ok but when you start over stretching them off the rims thy may crack.
I do have some spares luckily so Im just going to hook in and do it.
