Panther G

Post by HDMM »

Taigen Panther G, metal edition. This was put together as a sort quickly repaired and rushed back into service build. It has a new turret, new barrel, steel road wheels. It's running a Clark TK60, Clark servo recoil unit, Visaton FRS7 speaker and full IR battle system.

I like it. Its fun to see something different, and this one has a bonus concept story.

Nice version. Just tracks & sprockets to blend into the overall superb weathering.
Bet it sounds fantastic.

Thank you, yes it sounds great, it has one of Mr. Sollie's newest Panther sound sets in it. The sprockets got a wash so far, those were new too, had to do a lot of work on this old tank. The tracks are brand new as well, just going to add a little rust wash to them, then let them weather in the dirt and muck outside as I run it.

Plausible story of a destroyed tank being cannibalised to keep others operating. There is a photo of wheels removed from a destroyed Tiger, with shipping weight (71kg) and units they are being sent to chalked on them, in the Haynes manual on Tiger 131.
