Re: brick building
Well this building is like generation #3 for me. I usually start off with just dumpster dived 10lbs foam and carefully cut out the windows and other measurements with a long razor. This one was inspired by watching a youtube doll house making video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i92KXHPXjxM. I fiberglass one side of the foam with 3oz glass to make it stiff as the airclay will warp it. I buy the Airclay and roll it just like the video. I use almost no water as I find it makes the foam warp even harder. I made a brick roller on my 3D printer out of PETG and it is set to 1/12 and 1/16 european brick. 1/12 for the foundation and the upper building is 1/16 I got that off of the same website as the youtube video recommended. I use magnets to make the building go together and come apart for storage like my other buildings. This one is much heavier and sturdier then the other buildings I made. Less wind prone to falling down or when a tank runs into it. I paint the airclay with latex house paint grey and then mix acrylic paint Primary yellow and equal of Alizarin Crimson with just a dash of burnt umber or sienna. I prefer a more orange brick color. I sponge dab it on. The other good news is that IR doesn't really reflect too badly off this building so bounce hits are much less. That was tested indoors even. I plan to make a flexible skirt/curb to allow me to glue rubble around the outside and really make it real looking. I find making buildings as satisfying as making the tanks. I might try and find some doll furniture to 3D print into 1/16 and lay it inside strewn around. Maybe a kitchen sink too LOL

Re: brick building
Thank you for the trouble and care you took to explain how you made the building. I am impressed, and I have read through you account of your craftsmanship. When I get to my PC with a larger screen, I will watch the video and reread.
