Re: My Sherman collection
I have my own files for most of the Sherman engine decks exhausts and filters aswell as both early and late small hatches and even the early mantlet so building one or sourcing parts to convert won’t be an issue. The issue is what nation to do the build. With the late a1 and a2 I can use African or New Zealand aswell

Re: My Sherman collection
Won’t really look any different to a British tank in Sicily colours. But we will know it’s a kiwi one because the brits didn’t use the late a2. Just gave it to everyone else

The markings and some colours might help to distinguish it.
Ive chucked in a bit of other info as well.
The Tamiya Tiger 1 that I have to build will be the very one that the 18th knocked out.
Perhaps you could build the Sherman that finally took it out

Re: My Sherman collection
I try not to build specific tanks because I can’t be bothered with rivet counters but I can certainly have a look at it and see if I can do it, Sherman’s can be got away with a little more because to most the only Sherman that exists are in a film

Re: My Sherman collection
A few finnishing touches to the a1. Although I’m not sure about the green tarp, will likely look better when it’s had a sand wash sprayed on

Re: My Sherman collection
The above is the m10 sporting the 17pdr. To us brits the Achilles. This particular one is the early variation using the m4a2 hull and engine. It’s running off a self repaired ibu2 pro that I thought I had blown years ago. Turns out it was a fuse. I haven’t bothered with any form of battle system because it’s hard enough to hide the wiring as it is. This will eventually have figures in the turret that will be hiding the muzzle flash and servos and servo wiring for recoil and elevation

Wow, I like that one. Was there a build thread on this one?

Re: My Sherman collection
There was a few bits and bobs on other builds but I didn’t do a dedicated one.
It’s yet to be weathered and “decorated” but that’s pretty much it
