Silly question, but is the lead from the MFU to the receiver plugged in the right way round - eg the black wire same end as the other leads? I have done that mistake a couple of times

:) Hello, have you spotted the different outputs (channels) of the RX with servos, in order to know who does what with the sticks?
see also, in the menu of the radio? if a function is deactivated, the channel function is not the same on all receivers, depending on the brand!!

Changing radios, you should go back through the entire calibration routine in the manual of Tamiya tank.

:) Our friend "Tank me" is right, by changing the radio, you have to go back to all the settings of the Tamiya module ? and as said in the previous message? ensure that the function of the handles corresponds to the previous one?

:) Tamiya, locate Ch.1.2.3.4 channels based on RX Futaba? but this is not necessarily the case for another brand? it is therefore necessary to check (servos) on the new model, in order to find the correct channels. I do not know the Leopard? but Tamiya uses for certain functions, the movement of the Trim (gun and machine gun fire)
with a programmable radio, it is possible to get around this problem
