Panther G, T34/85 comparison pics

Post by MrChef »

I had both of these great tanks out for some fun today so I took some pics together and then thought if anyone was wondering comparing their sizes here ya go enjoy-

Ironically both tanks had their smokers on. Just look how the Panther blows smoke.

I know just what the T-34 and Panther G need. If you don't want to take on painting figures: https://heng-long-panzer.de/de/1-16-mil ... _count=180

Or it you want to start banging your head against a brick wall: https://heng-long-panzer.de/de/1-16-mil ... -unbemalt/

Or closer to home, especially for a Russian tank commander: https://dgsselkirk.wixsite.com/dgsmilit ... mm-figures

Yes sir I do need a few Russian comrades and I also do like some of the German tank commanders on the Torro.de site. It may not look it maybe it's the lighting but that German guy in the cat is a painted Torro guy.

"that German guy in the cat is a painted Torro guy" Hmm... He looks to me like the general issue HengLong/Taigen/Torro "Panzermann." It appears that you have done something to make him look better than the fried-egg eyes via the link https://www.torro-shop.de/1-16-Half-Fig ... -Commander. ) Even with the most expensive Torro (Taigen) German tanks, that's what ya get. The selection of figures on the Torro site, including some good ones, is still less extensive than on Licmas (heng-long-panzer.de) or other German sites. Here's another possibility: https://www.rctank.de/FIGUREN_s1

Ya Herr Dr. I am guilty of messing with Torro's perfection for sure. This guy is the Torro painted Hans or Fritz or whomever. I stole the Miniature modelers cheat using AK Streaking Grime as a wash to mute some stuff and bring other attention out-

Image

Here is my feeble basic attempt at painting an Green Heng Long Hans. He still needs some silver and red detailing but definitely not worse than the Torro guy-

I have a handful of these guys left to keep practicing on.

Anyway here is a video of the kids these days "or 3 years ago" using streaking grime on Warhammer 40K and Grimdark miniatures-

Same concept as Jnewboys Magic grime for the tank.
