Ebay already has them for buy it now prices in the $500's USD.

Toucan has them from $260. USD for all plastic up to $390. USD Pro models.

The Ebay offerings are listing shipping sometime in June. Toucan doesn't list ship dates. Shipping prices are reflecting shipped direct from China.

I paid the equivalent of $200 at HEC & that includes VAT. Again, its plastic so I'll upgrade once the parts come online in June.

Toucan- https://www.toucanhobby.com/search?type=product&q=3958

$280.
$296.
$358.
Respectively. More palatable but $280. for all plastic, etc.

Ebay-

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-16-RTR-Tank- ... 5815834328

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Henglong-1-16- ... 5815827684

I'd guess these prices are to be expected with new releases.

Foe me it's a bit too high at the moment. I like the Merkava quite a bit and the details look good but I'm putting this one on a wish list when the prices come down.

just look at how the prices have jumped... So sad. Ebay auctions are bad enough bur Toucan bending people over even more now.

Toucan is claiming Heng long gave them a preliminary price and then bumped up the prices when they started shipping them out. Who knows who too believe but either way I’ll be purchasing one after a couple of M60’s and a Centurion lol.

Mine arrive last Wed., two weeks from China! :D

All metal edition feels solid runs well only issue is I can not adjust the volume down. One of the features I really like is the screws that hold the upper and lower hulls together are located on the top side and do not require turning the tank over for access. Battery is also accessible from the top side with a removable hatch on the forward hull beside the drivers hatch along with the On/Off switch and battery hatch release.

One thing of curious interest is the metal tracks, sprocket and idler along with the road wheels are not a shinny metal but a very smooth feeling satin material. I am unsure what type of metal it is nor does it seem to be as heavy?

Goal will be to upgrade the details and to add the Trophy Hard Kill system at some point. For now however I'll give it a proper coat of paint (hate their weathering approach) and do some learning of the programing for the new Control Board.
