Agreed. I built one of these in 1/35 scale as a kid...didn't turn out quite as nice...

Yes, indeed: the photos of how die Schürzen are mounted are most helpful. Thank you! I have been looking in books and trying to peek behind the skirts of other's Stug III
to see how to mount them.
