I have an extra set, but being in the US the shipping would probably cost more than they do.

What is the model number of the remote? You might be able to pick one up on Ebay quite cheaply

I've checked before Tiger6 but unfortunately nothing comes up on there  there are a few websites also that show the remote and ir set but they are not in stock, so the search goes on

Are there any people fairly close to you with a programming kit you could get together with and borrow for a few minutes?

Once I get home I can post the Sony remote types I have. One is a generic model which is a little different than the original, but works and the other is the standard Sony branded one. I tracked down all the info years ago when I was having this same issue with availability.

Hey Lee, I'm not using mine at the moment, if you don't mind covering the postal cost happy for you to borrow it and post back when you're done.
