Panther G Jump Starter Pins

Post by DavidS »

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me where the Jump Starter Pins are located on a Panther G?
I purchased a Schumo detail set that included them but have not been able to find where the should
be located!
Thanking you in eager anticipation.
Kind regards

How bout a link to the "Schumo Detail Set"? That would also help us help you.

I think you're talking about the "cold start" pins that they attached the external motor to. (Also the attachment that connected a Kubelwagen to the tank). I don't have any references to hand, but I believe they were located on the round bolted-on plate.

Thanks to you all for your help here.
I tried transferring pics from my phone and also tablet but to no avail! perhaps I should spend my hard earned savings on a new computer etc instead of tanks and upgrades, no contest!
Back to the problem I feel that sassgrunt has hit the nail onn the head and I can now continue to finsh my project. once again thanks for all your help and keep well.

Hi, Jofaur: I think DavidS got just the information he needed. See his post of Sat. 22 Apr. immediately above yours. Then, too, I found this thread interesting, as I have not been aware that the two covers for "cold start" could be attached to a Kübelwagen. I wonder if a Panther ever moved out with a Kübelwagen still attached? :haha:

1:16 was my scale. Until 'Konan' came into my life... an Armortek 1:6 Tiger 1!
... Now followed by a Panther G, 'Gunther'!

I'm a happy man. 8)
