360 is a cool gimmick but has limitations on rear deck stowage.
Depending on your vehicle the need to rotate 360 can limit your artistic options

It also requires the wires in the lower hull to be fastened down. Otherwise when the slip ring doesn't slip very well you finish up with a mess of tangled wires. As Herman mentions, it's cool, but not without problems.

For what it's worth only 2 of my 6 tanks have 360 degree rotation and I've barely used the feature on either more than to check that it's there. And then I spin them back in the opposite direction to their original forward position.

For my Panther G I investigated exactly this topic and came away with just investing in a non limited turret ring. And to this day I just never installed it. It's a novelty but I understand your interest.

Now for an IR battle competition with a group I'd be more interested.

PS if you really want to upgrade something might I suggest a better speaker. These new ones have been known to blow when the volume is higher than the 3rd setting.
