Bus pass in 4 years. Been a modeller for 50 years. Melted an Airfix Spitfire on the fireguard in erm, 1957 at a guess. Got a Lindberg B58 for a birthday back then and that made me determined to complete a model. I just had to have this thing on the box. Dinky and Corgi were'nt going to make me one so I had to build the kit. Much to my Fathers disdain '' In my day we whittled them from sticks'' Yea, right Dad lets see you do that with a Hustlers undercarriage.
So as the years progressed so did I. Now I make large 1/20th scale scratchbuilt designs largely based on found objects. see here http://www.flickr.com/photos/makfreak/collections/72157621780033836/
In amongst that lot is a half track based on a Heng long Tiger. I got the U/S tank from my local hobby shop.
Ok Intro over. I will post my needs elsewhere.

Welcome to the forum Mark and stunning work on the M.A.K inspired vehicles

I remember seeing something similar in one of the modeling magazines years ago based on an old Tamiya RC buggy and lots of car body filler whoever built it said the weight of the filler slowed it down making it more scale speed I guess (was it one of yours?)
Cheers Ian
