That's ashame for awhile there they were leading the hobby with new offerings and very good quality. I guess we will have to hope Heng long and Tongde can bring more offerings and higher quality to the hobby.Xiaoshan_Sailor wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 10:17 am KY Model's main interest is & always will be RC ship models, not tanks. Their owner told me 4 years ago he would follow the 1/16 Schwimmwagon with a larger scale & its been nothing but crickets since. Don't get your hopes up.![]()

Was 71 the number of tanks or age?
I guess I will have to make a count soon, but I think you've got me beat--on tanks. Fun! Fun! Fun!

Re: Taigen/Torro tanks
I'm attending HEC next weekend & will ask Peter when I visit the KY Models booth what his plans are. Of all the RC tank brands, only Heng Long will be exhibiting since Hooben will at Dortmund. Tongde will not be at HEC but am sure some of their new releases will be shown at the Coolbank booth.TIGER RAMPAGE wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 12:32 pm That's ashame for awhile there they were leading the hobby with new offerings and very good quality. I haven’t seen any of tongde examples other than the centurion, torro/Taigen haven’t realeased a tank in a number of years and hl seem to be releasing more metal and stupidly priced stuff. If you want something new now your better off buying a 3D printer and printing something yourself
It’s your tank it’s what you make it

Spoke to the man himself, Peter Kuang, owner of KY Model who makes Torro's line & they plan to release a Leopard next year.
