East German T72 in the snow

Post by Meter rat »

We had some snow, so I took the opportunity to take some pictures of my East German T72.

Brave, Ian: that last (bottom) photo especially demonstrates the potential of camouflage.

Very nice! I was never much of a modern armour guy, but after getting a T-72 and seeing the sweet camo schemes available--yours included--I gotta say these tanks are growing on me.

Well done!

Mike.

Same. I'm looking at the Leopard 2a6 for my first adventure into a modern MBT.

Thank you for the kind comments.
This was the first tank bought, and painted with rattle cans. Personally I prefer modern tanks, as they seem a lot less modelled. Took the opportunity to photograph it before going to work as we rarely get snow in this bit of Scotland.
