Happy Firefly Friday! tanks for looking! 😁 This tank represents a Sherman VC Firefly on D-day from the 1st Hussars a Regiment from London Ontario Canada. the name "CONROY" on this particular tank is named for one of the crew member's hometown a small village outside of London. Here is what went into the build...
DGS Military Hobby Firefly kit 3D printed Turret Kit
HL lower hull and extended to A4 configuration Board TK40Sbus FS-i6s Radio and 10 ch. receiver
TARR smoker
Custom speaker 3D printed internal mounts
DGS Military Hobby IR Emitter and Apple
Metal Sprockets and tracks Adjustable Idlers
3D printed early type open spoke bogies
Commonwealth Stowage Package
Custom Paint/Decals/Weathering Details from DGS Military Hobby Stowage kit along with some scratch built details.
Modeling Skills building and assembly about 82 hours.

Firefly.............the only Sherman I would ever own.
A million years ago(it seems) my first ever tank model was a Matchbox 1/76 Firefly......................cost NZD$1.65 :O
Never had one since, never known why
